A misty day in Woodenbridge teed off the 1st of 4 outings for the IBGS. There was a good turnout and the overall winner (Michael Byrne) came in with an impressive 38 points! The newly crowned golfer of the year 2016 is Mr David Hickey and the Par 3 Champion 2016 was Mr John Harrington. The course was in excellent condition and everyone enjoyed the challenge of such a fine course. Thanks to Neils flour for the sponsorship of prizes on the day.

Looking forward to the next outing which is Castleknock on the 9th of May. The IBBS Benevolent golf outing is also on that day. We hope to see you there!!

National Bread Week 2017

The FCBA are delighted to announce that National Bread Week will take place again in September 2017
The last three years have been a tremendous success.
Last year the bread week focused more on media, with coverage ranging from radio to TV, newspapers, Twitter, Facebook etc.
The "love your loaf" campaign is used to promote bread in general and many FCBA members used the week to promote their own label locally.
The week also is used to defend the bad press about bread in general, and to publicly promote the actual benefits of bread.
We look forward to announcing National Bread week at our upcoming AGM on the 10th of  May in Castleknock Hotel Dublin.
